The Dramas Leading up to the Land Title
February 10, 2014 - Our land will be titled any day now. Just waiting for that phone call as the titles office has been given all the info regarding our land release 2 weeks ago... waiting...waiting..
Our sales consulant at Parks Edge has emailed us pics of the pegs to look for, so we'll be ready to inform our solicitor and confirm our land dimensions are what was outlined in our contract. Exciting!
We visited the block yesterday and saw the pegs. Great to see the actual width and length of the block.. and also nice to know that we are so close to being land owners.
I dug out our land contract and saw that we signed up in March 2013... a long time waiting but the timing couldn't have been more perfect having only returned to work after maternity leave 3 months ago.
February 19, 2014 - 1:30PM It's OFFICIAL.. Land it now Titled !!! Such a nice feeling that we are one step closer! Now for all the behind the scenes work from our lovely solicitor and the land should hopefully settle without any dramas.
February 19, 2014 - 3PM OOPS our Estate rep had misheard some information whilst driving and our land isn't actually titled. She has just sent out an email to all those in our land release apologising for the error on her part. She has given us a time frame of an additional 4 to 10 days before it titles. So still WAITING, WAITING for the Land Title, and I had to notify our bank, builder and solicitor that the land isn't actually titled... fun!
