Week 10 - Preparing for Paint & Tiles

Not much to report. House was locked up with plastic on windows. Internal walls sanded and prepped ready for Wattyl 'flokati' paint. The exterior has been painted in the Dulux Winnow (off white) colour we fell in love with from another Porter Davis display home. It's only noticeable around the garage as tiling will be done around the front master window. You can also see it at the rear of the house.

Lots of planning and window shopping has been happening this month!

This is the pendant that will be above the kitchen island bench (on order at Beacon Lighting). We also received our first electrical quote for our LED down lights to be installed throughout the house.

Week 8 - Cabinetry & Skirting

This was the first weekend that I didn't see the house, however hubby managed a quick visit with some family members.

No surprise that the house is officially locked up - and they could only peek through the windows.

Coming soon..... interior painting and tiling.... and even better we get an approx. occupancy date in 2 more weeks. I'd better get those old packing boxes ready! Exciting!
